I’m running for the SK school board to ensure every student has access to a strong, well-funded, and safe public school. As a an educator at Chemeketa Community College, I see how gaps in education impact students after high school. I want to fix that by reducing class sizes, increasing student support services, and ensuring teacher and student voices are heard.
Schools should be safe and welcoming without relying on police. Instead, we need counselors, mental health resources, and restorative justice practices. I’m ready to bring my experience and passion to the school board to help students, teachers, and our community thrive.
